Blind FaithII Corinthians 5:4-8 We have given out cries of our weariness, For the burden of care which falls on us; Not that we desire to be free of the body, But a new body in the Scriptures we study; While a death might be overcome by life, Only the Lord our God can rid us of strife; Now God has brought us into this world In giving to witness as His plan's unfurled; So then we are being without any fear, Though conscious as the Lord is not near; For we walk by faith and not by seeing, We are without fear and not worrying. Our faith is blind when not able to see. Since believing in Christ hung on the tree; A blindness of faith that gathers strength, That takes our endurance to a new length; A strength that chases away your doubt, As well as complaints causing you to pout; You do not always have to see to believe, For your blind faith shall never deceive.
