Laying in quiet wait
My mind a docile, clean slate
Not any thinking
Over or under
Will make taking the next breath
Come to pass
I must see, I am not wrapped in pain
Nor am I pain
Healing power and strength
Find me in a place
Where I am not willing to put myself
In such a crippling state
So, let it be that my arms
Reach for the heavens
And I call out
To my persevering womanhood, motherhood
Teach to me, my right in this world
Droplets of life fall upon me
Cleanse me, open me, cling to me
Renewing rain, shed copiously
As the weariness rolls off and away
And I am taught to perceive again
Out of turmoil, bring me to understanding
And if not to be understood
Divine life, recognized..
