New Beginnings - Day 18

I'm usually a lightweight,
a couple glasses of wine,
and I'm as giddy as
a five year old  
who has ate  
several spoonfuls
of pure sugar...
 
But your dad was buying,
him and I were singing,
and after a full rendition
of "Some Beach", I
vaguely recall being
irritated by my bra
and taking it off
in the tiny bathroom
in the back.
I had completely
lost count of  
wine glasses
consumed.
 
Somehow, your father
went home with my bra
in his back jeans pocket,
and I have been made aware
that it will show up again,
whispers of Christmas presents
that may involve blow-up dolls.
 
I think that you guys are bluffing,
but I still don't have my bra back.
This may be a great year to
quietly sneak away
after dinner for some sort
of invented work emergency~
and thank you so much
for the delicious dinner...
I will take my gift with me
and open it later...
I'm sure I'll love it,
and it will be~
(just my size).
