Timid LifeA forest of little trees resembled blue mist The country slept like a lazy sleeping giant Cheerful light spreading outside the long bar window Not a small bird could be seen in the morning sky The darkness was slowly fading behind the tree A bright ray engulfed the narrow serpentine lane Lighted up the grey hedges on the other side how deep the sky looked-vast and stretched across the world. She glared at me with great horror and trembling fear I was nobody’s enemy except my own A red flickering light on the opposite road Her pale face accumulated a few drops of sweat I pulled her close to my strong shoulder and whispered I would shake and tear the timid life out of you.
