Words of Life, Love and Praise
Crimson Yet Drips-
Over, done, finished, fini-
This heart now so familiar
of words for "the end".
Years spent trying - to no avail,
Reminding myself things that once
Held you ever so close to this heart…
Where now shall I look?
All I know lie quietly at your feet.
Sorrows burned into my soul
Dark as requiem masses-
Tears behind the veil…
I shudder in the coolness.
Yet, your bite no longer stings
As it tears free another piece of flesh…
Have you not yet your pound?
No longer shall you bring me anguish,
This heart now deep within steel
As I rip free from your hand.
Let go, LET ME GO…
What was is no more.
I know not the man behind your eyes…
So much…..pain....
And crimson yet drips-
This heart now so familiar
of words for "the end".
Years spent trying - to no avail,
Reminding myself things that once
Held you ever so close to this heart…
Where now shall I look?
All I know lie quietly at your feet.
Sorrows burned into my soul
Dark as requiem masses-
Tears behind the veil…
I shudder in the coolness.
Yet, your bite no longer stings
As it tears free another piece of flesh…
Have you not yet your pound?
No longer shall you bring me anguish,
This heart now deep within steel
As I rip free from your hand.
Let go, LET ME GO…
What was is no more.
I know not the man behind your eyes…
So much…..pain....
And crimson yet drips-
