 GRANDMA'S KITCHEN  ( Free Verse) x

~Grandma's Kitchen~
(Free Verse)

Grandma's kitchen
Wasn't really grand at all
But it was very nice and warm,
And where she prepared every single meal

Grandma's kitchen
Was just the cozy  place to be
For a satisfating meal or for just a talk
And to share with her a nice cup of tea

When you walked  into her kitchen
She rushed to offer you the best that she had
With  all the food  that you could eat
And then she tried to handed you some more

With a big smile she was  ready to please,
And with a cup of steeming  coffee she did,
And her baked goodies and cakes were also a treat
As she handed them  around to all of her friends

Grandma's kitchen
Her delicious meals, after all these years, still I can smell
And whatever  you ate, was quiet a delicious adventure to take
Hardly  any of her food ended up in  a  basket waste,

Because even the leftovers  were  the best to eat the next day.
