Looking Forward, So Hard.Bereavement is a funny thing, You're on a high, then low, But if you put your trust in yourself, Face the hurt, let your pain go! Living in the past isn't easy, And it's a long hard road ahead, So when you wake in the morning, Shake off those feelings of dread! There is light at the end of the tunnel, So everyone tells me so, But at the moment, I can see a beam, Is my hurt about to go? Yes, I think it is, For I've the strength of my dad, He wouldn't want me to live in the past, For that is truly sad. So I am looking forward, Though I have my up's and downs, But with the teachings of my dad, I'll shake off all those frowns. So don't look back, look forward, And with hope in your heart you'll be… So much happier – honest! For that's a promise from me!
