My Life's Picture
In the darkness of my midnight blue
Lord, show me a glimpse of you
a light for my future and a
picture I can persue.
As the canvase is being laid
may my steps toward you be paved
keep control of my thoughts
so the brightest colors can be saved.
Help me to focus on your brush
not to be in my own big rush
for patience and obedience
on my part is a must.
Add your love of beauty to my soul
realizing your always in control
give me your favor and paint
the prettiest picture in life to know.
