But He'll Always Be Dan To Me!In life his name is Steve, And he's the greatest fella I know! Always there with his ears, Well, without them he'd look a show! He's ever so funny is Dan! Has me laughing all the time, We get on great, me and my mate! This fella, so good and so fine! When I'm feeling a little down, Or even a little sad or blue, Along comes Dan and cheers me up! With the thing's he'll say and do! He laughs at my voice all the time, Say's it's like a screeching cat! Well even though he is correct, I'm certainly not having that! Of course I have to get my own back, So I laugh at his baldy head! But yes, I'm only joking of course, He's lovely, it has to be said! Me and Dan have been friends for ages, Actually, a couple of years now, And in all this time, I have to add, He's always called me a cheeky cow! Now that aint nice to call me, So I told Dan, and I really went mad! I said; ‘Dan you cheeky manc you! I think you're really sad!' But as we do we had a laugh, And we chuckle and giggle all the while, And every time that I feel down, My Dan always makes me smile! He'll never be anything to me… Except Dan, my special little mate, Even if his name is really Steve, As my Dan, he's really great!!! Cos He's A Superstar You See! And He's Me Mate!
