Geeezz, Here We Go Again!

I was a really quiet kid you know!
It wasn't as if I was bad!
But every time I went to school,
Me parents were always glad!

They said I was a little cow,
And always got in a fight!
So almost every day after school,
I was sent to bed early at night!

I was playing in the school yard once,
When this boy came and kissed me on the cheek!
Wow, I gave him such a smack!
His face was bruised for a week!

I was seen in action though!
And of course I got the cane,
Then for luck, one hundred lines!
Time and time again!

And every week at mass,
I would faint in the pew,
And I always got the ruler on me legs,
They said I faked it and they knew!

But I didn't fake it, no way!
It's just I got dizzy and sick,
And all the teachers had to run,
And catch me really quick!

Then me dad took me to hospital,
Cos I fainted all the time,
And he got sick and tired of it,
Hearing the teachers moan and whine!

And the doctor at the hospital!
Wow, I think I was in love!
Cos he told me dad I wasn't well!
And I raised my eyes above!

After that, quite often you'd see me,
Sat on the floor looking grey!
While the teachers mulled around me,
Asking if I was okay!

They listened to the doctor you know!
Cos he gave me parents a letter,
To tell the teachers to leave me alone,
Until I was feeling better!

I think that statue of Our Lady…
Helped me out a bit cos you see!
I asked her time and again,
If she'd cut me some slack and help me!

I think she got fed up with me,
Hounding her every day!
So she made the teachers back off,
And made everything ok!

But still I got them flaming lines!
Cos I always broke the rule!
But that's their fault not mine!
Cos they made me go to school!
