Imagination's Dinner Party
I enjoyed Thanksgiving Dinner
with my sister, and two close friends.
But, I wondered, what an
Imagination's Dinner would be like.
So I took a flight of fantasy~~~
Please meet Melva, Judie and Shy~~~
Imagination's Dinner Party
Sitting at a table,
in a quiet little room,
awaiting friends from across the land,
they should be here, very soon.
What joy to share with each of them
our treasured memories.
Their words have drawn me closer
than I ever thought I'd be.
Such kindness each has given me,
what joy we have employed,
Such gentleness, caring, thoughtfulness,
Never before, have I enjoyed.
Each angel has her problems,
From her notes, you'd never know.
The pain and suffering each goes through:
Another reason I love them so.
Shy has fibromyalgia:
A debilitating disease.
yet her every minute is sharing
God's Blessings, sure to please.
Judie writes from heart-felt love,
She will be published very soon
Her works give Glory to God Above,
Sings His praises,
morning, night, and noon.
Melva gives from a soul-so-lost
In the service of Our Lord.
She lives, and breathes, and works so hard,
All she does is Christ Adored.
Three friends to spend a holiday with
Sharing Praise and Joyfully Singing,
Giving Thanks to Jesus, up above,
For the love this friendship is bringing.
Imagination's dinner party,
I'm so glad that you were there.
I enjoyed our time together,
You will be, forever, in my prayers.
