I Thank God

Everyday i thank God
for giving me a reason
to fall asleep smiling.
I thank him for giving me you.

The way you look at me,
the way you touch me...
I thank him
for the simple things you do.

Those puppy eyes
and that beautiful smile...
I love everything you are.

And i pray to God
to make this last
And thank him
for getting me this far.
