Signs from God

Isaiah 7:11-15

Ask upon the Lord God Almighty for a sign,
Either in depth or in height that'll define;
What the future holds for us here on earth,
For the hopes and dreams and new birth;
Some say that I should not make a request,
That would put our God through such test;
For it is thought provoking as discussed,
Enough have been driving men to disgust;
Now with trying to also doing it to God,
Who knows if you are honest or a fraud;
But God gave a sign of a woman with child,
The birth of a son who will not be defiled;
He will be given him the name of Immanuel,
Wonderful, Counselor, and Divine Spiritual.
When older, butter and honey as His food,
For better understanding of evil from good.
God always is giving signs to us everyday,
For helping us through in finding our way;
Pay attention to the signs what is up ahead,
For there might be a detour to take instead.
