M's Poetry
Perfect World
I wish for you things I never had
and hope that carries you through trials
the stars will always look amazing
knowing you're under the same sky
and all the times we danced and even fought
are precious to me because too quickly
you were gone....I thought that love is happy
but I was wrong , a strange blend of a mix
that forever flows just not always for the same person
I think no matter what I do
I have realized I still hold on to you
in a perfect world we would be
in a perfect world you are right beside me
but in this world I want you to be happy and fine
possibly in love because everyone deserves
that happy ending no matter the hurt
pain does cost but love sometimes does win
the heavens does smile on me every once in a while
so I patiently wait for that sign from the sky
another chance....a different scenario
to fall again to loving arms
to share my deepest secrets
to build a new life with and move on
to once again try to build back a perfect world.
