Speechless Desire

Your romantic antiquities
steal my breath away..

Leaving me with little or nothing
parted, these yearning lips can say.

With heavens stars in my eyes
that blind me to all clear thought..

Dreamily I kneel at the door
with a key to the heart I've sought.

I cannot say with words
what my soul is longing for..

Yet know, my pulse so quickly races
and my skin in secret places
aches for your touch, evermore.
