Being as Children of God

Put your own wisdom hold any high value,
Rather the fear of the Lord be before you;
Keep away from evil depart from its ways,
In renewing your strength that will amaze;
Give honor to the Lord with your wealth,
Of the first fruits, giving you better health;
All your treasure will abundantly overflow,
For wiping out the debts that you still owe;
Do not ever despise the teaching of the Lord
In His training never be angry or deplored;
For whoever the Lord loves He disciplines,
Like a Father to a son to punish our sins.
He is more than God more like a Father,
Watching over each one of us like no other;
Truly as being His children that are we,
A good reason why to follow His decree;
As with doing His work here on the earth,
By abiding in Him gives a renewed birth;
He blesses us with the cream of the crop,
And is why we should tithe from the top.
