Akaroa Screaming
We all asked for drinks,
In a cafe' by the sea.
She came out with a tray,
As pretty as can be.
Then in an instant,
We heard a mighty crash,
The drinks, glasses and bottles,
Collided in a clash.
His leather coat was smattered
With malibu and coke.
His pants and shirt were splattered,
He was not a happy bloke.
He wriggled in his seat,
Gyrating swiftly, fast,
Yelling at the startled girl,
"I've got glass down my ar**!!"
Joy Weare.
7th December, 2004.
