Unselfish LoveI John 3:16-19 We can see what love truly is as we view, Christ gave up His life for me and for you; It is ok giving our lives for our brothers, And for the sake of our sisters and mothers; If he has wealth and his brother is in need, But tries ignoring and just lets him bleed; How is it possible as the love of God to be, If his brother cries out for mercy of plea; Do not let our love be in word of your lips, Rather an act of good faith in fellowships; Then we remain true and also are assured, Of our heart to comfort as he feels secured. Too many times we misuse the word of love, Other than the true meaning from up above; Allowing an earthly lust for taking control, This is inviting Satan for taking your soul; A love that's true is a love that you share, As a gift of God showing others you care; An unselfish love that you always sacrifice, To the extent that Christ paid the price.
