Father Christmas

Father Christmas
Father Christmas
Will you visit me?
I have put my stocking up,
And my big Christmas tree.

Father Christmas
Father Christmas
Will you visit me?
I have been so very good,
Just you come and see.

Father Christmas
Father Christmas
Will you visit me?
I deserve a gift so big,
I know you will agree.

Father Christmas
Father Christmas
Will you visit me?
When you come, lift up our mat,
And find our front door key.

Father Christmas
Father Christmas
Will you visit me?
I'm the one with long dark hair,
I'm as pretty as can be.

Father Christmas
Father Christmas
Will you visit me?
My room is very tidy,
I'm as neat as neat can be.

Father Christmas
Father Christmas
Will you visit me?
Please don't come till Christmas Eve,
And not till after tea!

Joy Weare.
12th December, 2004.
