Climb the highest mountain, punch the face of god
The Moon As My Crystal Ball
Too tired to lay into you
About my recent loneliness.
It's not like you would take heed
Of my angry words.
You always use your guilt trips
To hurt me and make me feel
Like less of a person.
Always riding your high horse
To destination unidentified,
And I am always heading straight forward,
In the wrong direction,
Destination identified.
Maybe what you don't understand
Is that I know what comes when,
Twice upon a time,
Losing my breath,
Head over heels,
In a puddle of mud
To peer into the future
Where I will always view
The moon as my crystal ball.
While I play my cards right,
You are all about the guilt trip.

About my recent loneliness.
It's not like you would take heed
Of my angry words.
You always use your guilt trips
To hurt me and make me feel
Like less of a person.
Always riding your high horse
To destination unidentified,
And I am always heading straight forward,
In the wrong direction,
Destination identified.
Maybe what you don't understand
Is that I know what comes when,
Twice upon a time,
Losing my breath,
Head over heels,
In a puddle of mud
To peer into the future
Where I will always view
The moon as my crystal ball.
While I play my cards right,
You are all about the guilt trip.
