It's My Birthday
Today is my birthday
I'd like to proclaim
I see a big banner
bearing my name
I heard 50 is nifty
but the guy who said that
was just out of diapers
and looked like a rat
they brought me a cake
as round as a tire
when they lit up the candles
it started a fire
My friend Arthur Itus
brought in my birthday
Ben Gay my dear friend
brought warmth to my day
Firemen put out the candles
we had soggy cake
the punch had no kicker
please give me a break
The day almost over
no more guests to arrive
there's one thing about it
I'm going to survive
