Good, Bad and Ugly
Signature Creations by

We were at dinner,
a rare moment
going out to eat alone,
in the middle of
an intriguing discussion
when my cell phone rang.
I couldn't get my sister
off of the telephone.
If I said we were
in the middle of dinner,
she would have
just kept on talking.
So I told a small lie...
that I was running errands,
waiting to check out, standing
right in the middle of a line...
You whispered frantically,
"Don't lie to your sister!
Do you believe in God?
Because you can lie to
your sister, but..."
I cut you off.
"You don't understand
(my sister)", I whispered.
God would have told her
HE
was at a
cash
register
too!
