You were a chorister who enthusiastically sang psalms of praises,
A choralist who offered songs to glorify our Divine Providence;
You were a member of the choir who often followed His will,
And I'm sure the Deity was pleased by the way you served Him.
Trials, predicaments and loneliness hindered your much crave,
To be a perfect congregational devotee, to be a pious disciple;
But you remained steadfast in your faithful conviction,
And you continued on to vocalize and pay homage to God.
Then came a turning point that you learned to fall in love,
To the creature the Holy scriptures didn't allow you to be with;
You exerted every effort to disregard the feelings,
But the more you forget her, the more you long for her.
People from all edges and walks of life shut you down,
They loathed the woman who gave huge impact in your world;
But you fought for your right because you're not spineless,
To be with the maiden you adore
whom you can't live without anymore.
