The deep.

Glittering shimmering sapphire
Emitting swirling angel beams
Upon an expanse of serene
A silent symphony of tranquil.

The contrast to an inky depth
Of infinite mystery that calls
So quiet though ever present
Patient to embrace a tired soul.

Black absorbs the spent and wounded
Floating down till light recedes
Gently they rest without cares
For they become one with the sea.

Black absorbs
