On a warm summers day
As the water gently touches the shore
I love to walk along the beach
To feel the sand between my toes,
The cool sprays from the water
Splash upon my body
Keeping me cool from the suns' glow,
Taking a moment to rest
I find a place of shade
To rest my weary body,
While watching the children happily at play
Building castles in the sand
Their innocent laughter fills the air
As it soothes a wandering soul
