Living Humbly

Philippians 2:5-11

Let this mind be in you that was in Christ,
Even in being God allowed to be sacrificed;
Made Himself nothing other than a servant,
Brought upon this earth as a lowly infant;
Being seen in the form as a common man,
Following a course in life through a plan;
Taking the lowest place and put to death,
Hanging on the cross until His last breath;
For this reason God has put Him on high,
Having a name greater than any other guy;
Hearing the name of Jesus every knee bow,
On Heaven and earth God honors to endow.
We praise as to witness that Christ is Lord,
To the glory of God the Father be adored;
Recalling exactly how Jesus must had felt,
During his time on earth the way He dwelt;
No matter where Jesus went or had seek,
Walked humbly and turned the other cheek;
We too must be living humbly on this earth,
For God to determine exactly our worth.
