Like Son Like Father

John 5:19-23

The Son not able to do anything on His own,
Rather only of which the Father has shown;
Whatever the Father does to mold the clay,
So be it for the Son be done the same way;
The Father has love for the Son of intimacy,
And allows Him to watch everything to see;
Showing Him even greater works than this,
A marvelous wonder from a spiritual bliss;
So as the Father is giving life to the dead,
The Son gives life to who eats of the bread;
And the Father is not a judge of any man,
Rather for the Son to according to His plan.
How can we judge when it is up to Christ,
Appointed by the Father in being sacrificed;
As judgment falls on the Son in His hands,
We can give honor obeying His commands;
In honoring the Son as well as the Father,
And still to be treated as our own Brother;
Whoever does not attempt to honor the Son,
Shows no honor to the Father who will shun.
