(Have you ever noticed when you
resist something uncomfortable
in your life it gets bigger...
And when you embrace it, you grow
through it with new strengths and
blessings?)
POEM:
I resisted the clashing symbols
The ring became a roar
I cupped my ears ever tighter
The noise I could bear no more
Maybe I could drink and drown
Pop a pill and go numb
...Instead I decided to listen
The roar became a hum
I listened more intently
And thanked it for being there
Turned out it was a blessing
An answer to a prayer.
