Lost Love

Staring out the window
Thinking of you again
Wondering where your journey
Has taken you to my friend,

It's one of those things
I heard you say one day
And without another word
I watched you walk away,

You left me standing there
As I heard you close the door
Fighting back the tears
Like so many times before,

Now the years have passed by
Since I saw your face
Another love has come along
To fill an empty space,

So wherever you may be
I hope her love is true
For at last I have found the one
Who makes my dreams come true
