The Constitution of God

Luke 16:15-17

You do as it seems right in the eyes of men,
But God sees a heart of those things when;
Obsessed in desire that is evil in His eyes,
Appearing innocent but actually in disguise;
The laws and the prophets up through John,
As the Kingdom of God was taught dead-on;
But an impression of dog-eat-dog for entry,
Having to force your way past the sentry;
But Heaven and earth will come to an end,
As Christ returns for the Father will send;
Before the very smallest letter of the law,
To become void or dropped out, fail or fall.
The constitution of God cannot be amended,
For reasons not liking or getting offended;
Or not be altered for the sign of the times,
The penalty stays the same for the crimes;
So a verdict the same come Judgment Day,
As your direction will be pointing the way;
Just how you will be spending your eternity,
Depends if your abiding was in conformity.
