Little Miss Muffet

Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a chair,
Combing her soft
Long golden hair.
Along came Tom,
Looking quite glum,
Choking on cherries
And sucking his thumb.

Little Miss Muffet
Sat on a wall,
Doing her best
Not to fall.
Along came Georgie
Eating a pie,
But it was so awful,
He started to cry.

Little Miss Muffet
Sat on the moon
Holding her dish,
So it wouldn't swoon.
Her little dog laughed
Her mice went insane,
Little Miss Muffet
Was never the same!

Joy Weare.
