We met
twenty one tears ago...to date.
I have lost track of time,
as it seems like yesterday
I first saw your face.
Forever is a long time.
The vows we gave each other a year later
were indeed the best words I ever spoke.
Never is there enough time for you in my life,
wanting more and more each minute I see your face.
We met yesterday...long ago
but it is never enough
and you hold me tight until tomorrow
when all my life is at it's end,
and join each other in the here after.
We met
just a little while ago,
twenty one years in the blink of an eye.
I thought it was yesterday, or maybe tomorrow...
it doesn't matter...when I'm with you.
I feel each day...is the day we first met
nothing else matters in my book,
except for the love that you give.
Forever...is just a little while
when I sleep...I think of you.
The days that be counted...were all of yesterday
the moment I saw your face
and fell in love.
A moment of my time
is my eternity with you,
and nothing else matters
and time stands still.
We met...for a purpose in life
finding each other that day.
Who was to know ..the moment we met
that our lives would journey forever in time,
and the years we would love each other
would become the best years of our lives.
We met
and fell in love,
and time just disappeared,
twenty one years to the day.
What is time...for I had not lived
until I met you....staring into my eyes
and my soul just melted away,
and the days just melted away.
What is life
if I have not my soul mate,
the gift of love from God
as we met this day....far away in time.
My heart beats the seconds of time
that we live in a world all our own
in a place that we call home.
The day is just this
of a moment of bliss,
and I see you smile
was this forever.......for a little while.
