 Bitter Taste of War
Time has quickly passed like water over a dam,
but the haunting memories of old men
lingers on about a time long gone in a
far off jungle place they call Nam.

Many shall never return, others did with
bodily scars that will last for the rest
of their days. And others suffer in many
silent ways.

They each served their country for reasons
of their own in that jungle land, now a place
so distant, yet memories strongly stand.

Today they are bound as a brotherhood
of men afar, who knows the bitter taste of war.
