Poetry From The Heart by Barbara Ann Smith
Talents
The moment I met You
my life's never been the same
gifts began to flow
whenever I called out in vain.
You had filled my life with talents
they were tucked away inside
until the moment I met You
then they came alive.
I reach out to others
offer them a tender smile
it's amazing to see their happy reactions
as they pass me in an aisle.
I never meet a stranger
regardless of how they look
we are all considered equal
You tell us in Your Mighty Book.
my life's never been the same
gifts began to flow
whenever I called out in vain.
You had filled my life with talents
they were tucked away inside
until the moment I met You
then they came alive.
I reach out to others
offer them a tender smile
it's amazing to see their happy reactions
as they pass me in an aisle.
I never meet a stranger
regardless of how they look
we are all considered equal
You tell us in Your Mighty Book.
