Poetry From The Heart by Barbara Ann Smith
A White Bible
I have this white Bible,
it was given to me long ago.
It's pages are not perfect
but the words have an easy flow.
I read it every morning,
to capture His words of advice,
it tells a mighty story,
how we should strive to be nice.
It offers good instructions,
how to treat our fellow man,
to be kind to our neighbors,
reach out to lend a helping hand.
It teaches us to never gossip,
to love and assist everyone,
if they offend us,
laugh it off in fun.
I love this Bible,
it means the world to me,
it's solved troubling problems,
gave me a lot of love for thee.
it was given to me long ago.
It's pages are not perfect
but the words have an easy flow.
I read it every morning,
to capture His words of advice,
it tells a mighty story,
how we should strive to be nice.
It offers good instructions,
how to treat our fellow man,
to be kind to our neighbors,
reach out to lend a helping hand.
It teaches us to never gossip,
to love and assist everyone,
if they offend us,
laugh it off in fun.
I love this Bible,
it means the world to me,
it's solved troubling problems,
gave me a lot of love for thee.
