FORGET THE PAST, FORGET THE PAIN
Forget the past, today's another tomorrow,
let it be, and neglect all the sorrow,
of what was yesterday and the days past,
even though resentment remains to ever last!
Forget the pain, as if it no longer lingers,
like the stretch between my fingers,
such complexity in the arms of healing,
with no one there to ease the beating!
