Sunday

Sunday starts with tea and toast
And it ends with a Sunday roast
Listening to Church bells
Whilst browsing at carboot sales
Taking a walk to get the Sunday papers
An ideal cure for those hangovers
Football playing in the park
Wildlife programmes about the shark
Watching Repeats of repeats
Or just staying in bed under the sheets
Walking the dogs with wagging tails
Turning behind to look at girls
Like a curtain before the final shows
Sunday comes and Sunday goes
