Conquering TemptationRomans 8:31-39 If God is for us, who could be ever against, So there is no reason for to act so tensed; He did not even attempt to spare His Son, But surrendered Him as a victory is won; So who would even say against the saints, In combating evil, God gives us restraints; For Jesus Christ came risen up from death, As the one judging us after our last breath; What would come between us and Christ, The temptations luring as we are enticed; Same like the Holy Scriptures have said, Each and every day we are actually dead; Being like sheep ready for the butchery, But His love overcomes such treachery; As for certain that nothing on this earth, Of more value than His love and its worth. Not life, death, nausea creating ill heath, Nor fame, defamation, influence, or wealth; Neither of any greed or any type of fraud, To come between me and the love of God.
