Ode To My Love
The moment I saw you
I knew you would be mine
the smile on your face
was gentle and kind.
Your voice was caring
as you spoke to me
I needed you - you me.
The years have passed
true love is still here
we're only closer
in all that we share.
Each day brings a venture
as we grow old
desires to enjoy and memories to hold.
The love we've shared
has lasted for years
you comforted me--
through many fears.
You've never forsaken or
turned me away--
you were by my side day after day.
I'll love you My Darling - until the end
our marriage was blessed when it began.
We'll face tomorrows knowing we'll win
we'll be together until then.
