Thoughts of a Mother
Life After Death
To tell someone who's mourning that everything is gonna be alright
Is a bit premature if you've never endured the fright
Of having someone close to you depart from this earthly world
Whether it be mother, father, aunt or uncle boy or little girl
See I remember a time when my grandmother was taken from me
See it was hard because she was closer, then I am to me
But when reality struck in there was nothing anyone could say
Not I'm sorry, It's gonna be alright, or even it's gonna be okay
See for me her death is something I had to get over it by myself
There was nothing anyone could do, there was no one able to help
But by myself, I did it, cuz as they say time heals pain
I just pray to god that I will never go through that again...
