When my sun rises

She's not always warm she's not always bright
She doesn't always shine with blinding light
Sometimes the gray skies hide her rays
My sun and I have seen some rainy days
But when were together or even apart
My sun always rises in my heart
Sometimes she doesn't believe the effect she has
There are times she really makes me mad
I'm no genius but one thing I know
A flower needs the rain and the sun to grow
As long as she loves me my days will be bright
Even when I don't see it she gives me light
My sun rises every morning just for me
I didn't name my sun but most call her Stephanie
And when she rises she lifts my soul
Then drives away the dark and cold
She sets me high up on cloud nine
It makes me glad, so glad shes mine
