Ash Wednesday
A "Warm-N-Cozy" Greeting
Ash Wednesday
Dark stain of ashes upon my brow
Proclaim my sin to the world; and now
The mark of the cross redeemeth me,
And through His Blood, I am set free.
What brought this Precious Savior, Mine,
To leave His Heaven, so Divine,
And struggle and bleed just for my sake?
He has so Much Amazing Grace.
To save a wretched soul like me,
And grant me life eternally,
And if I had been the only one,
God would still have sent His Son.
To Heal, To Teach, To Preach, To Die,
So I might have my Mansion in the sky,
Lord, for my sin, I do atone,
Father, guide me, safely, home.
