Eternal Life
The symbol of the cross
grants me strength and courage
to step forward
and refuse to turn back.
The courage He exhibited that day
struggling to shoulder the load
to His own crucifixion--
executing precise steps
winding up the mountains side--
knowing His destiny.
He didn't tarry
He pushed forward
anxious to give His life
so that others--
could receive an eternal life.
