A Father isn't A Father…Unless He's Like Jim!A father isn't a father just like that! It has to be worked at to achieve… The name that people take for granted, And to wear it proud on his sleeve! A father is only a father true, When he takes time out to care, And make every day special and good, And to make sure they are always there! I know of a father good and true, Who has brought up his little boy alone! Has devoted all his time to him… And is always there in the home! He gives all his time to the child, Such a lucky young lad is he, For he has the father of all father's, And is all that he can be!! A father is not just a name given, To the parent of the children he's born, For it has to be worked at to be earned, And the love of that child be adorn… A father isn't a father true… Unless that father is involved somewhat… With the child and his upbringing! And takes an interest in all he's got! This man I know, named Jim, Is all that he can be…and more, For all he is – is all he is… And will be forevermore… This father is the father of all fathers, He is caring, kind and true… And yes, he earns the right to be called… A father - do you?
