If I could~~~~
A "Warm-N-Cozy" Greeting
If I could, I'd take the pain away,
And drive away your fears,
If I could, I'd take the clouds of gray,
And let the sunshine appear.
If I could, I'd sit and laugh with you,
Or, if you needed to, we'd cry,
If I could, I'd hold you close,
And give you strength, you can rely.
If I could, I'd conquer
all the things that cause you pain,
If I could, I'd slay the dragons
That are driving you 'insane'.
But I can only pray for you,
And hold you in my heart,
And ask the Lord to comfort you,
And never to depart.
For He has offered everything
To help you slay this beast,
And all you need do is call on Him,
Let Him 'prepare your feast'.
I know, you know, the joy He brings,
He's blessed you through your life,
With children fair, and family,
And an understanding wife.
When you have done all
that you can do,
Then reach down deep within,
Stand still, and let God Comfort You,
And let Healing begin.
