Ren's Pen
Lord, Let It Be
I use to wonder what all you went through,
Living on this earth sometimes I do,
Of how you were rejected and despised,
And why you even wepted and cried.
Sometimes it hard being on this earth,
And seeing others deny your worth,
It must of been lonely when you were here,
And how in your heart you held the world near.
Jesus, I am sorry there was not more by your side,
With love in their hearts opened wide,
Lord this world seems so out of place,
Makes me long to seek your face.
I know I have not done everything right,
I continue to try with all my might,
Seems like friends I lose everyday,
And yet my heart still tells me to pray.
Lord, tonight as the tears began to pour,
I ask you to bless them even the more,
My time there I pray they never seen me,
That another life was touched only by Thee.
Lord forgive me for anything I done wrong,
If it is your plan I will walk this road alone,
You are the only friend I desire and need,
If this is your will then Lord let it be.
