Blood Washed Cleansing

Hebrews 10:11-18

Every priest takes his place at the altar,
Doing as needed be done without falter;
Making the same offerings for the sin,
That will never be cleansed from within;
But an offering by Jesus of sins forever,
Giving opportunity of iniquities to sever;
On the right hand of God taking His place,
Shining in the radiance of His good grace;
His enemies to be a footstool for His feet,
For the Holy Trinity is One and complete;
As the Holy Spirit is witness of debt paid,
For the covenant that the Lord has made;
Engraving His laws into hearts and minds,
As fellowship between God and us binds;
And iniquities from memory are erased,
As the offering of sin is now replaced.
The forgiveness of sins was on the cross,
That Christ had sacrificed of such a loss;
Allowing His blood in cleansing our sins,
Closer to eternity as our rebirth begins.
