Words of Life, Love and Praise

Among The Twilight

Dawns first gingered hues steal through the blinds
Lighting so delicately your face,
My touch draws forth a purr
And a gentle smile crosses your lips…
I can but imagine your thoughts
As I watch you slumber –
Taking in the bold features
That create the beauty I find you to be.
So much I see within you…
Deeply passionate, demonstrative and kind –
My fingers trace the curves of your face
Only to come to rest on your broad chest,
Such perfection lay under my fingertips.
Your sigh diverts my thoughts…
These eyes again take in your face
And your peacefulness makes me smile.
Never before has one brought such joy –
Nor drawn such emotion…among the twilight.
