I RAN
In a moment of hesitation,
I let you pass me bye,
With the flutter of my heart,
In the blinking of an eye.
We could have been so perfect,
To you my heart belong,
Back then I went and blew it,
For fear of being wrong.
I see you now and wonder,
Just how it would have been,
If I had said I love you,
That you where all my dreams.
It's nice that we are talking,
But sometimes I could cry,
For every time I see you,
That sparkles in your eyes.
There not the same these feelings,
That I had way back then,
For now we've both matured here,
We are just good friends.
But often when I see you,
I wish that on that day,
I just had said I love you,
Instead I ran away.
