You see my picture
don't I have a pretty smile?
but let me tell you
it only stayed awhile!

You see my brown eyes
the sparkle they reflect?
can't tell by looking
they were filled with neglect!

You see my skin
flawless where it shows?
this pretty picture
is all that many know!

Now here my story
I was robbed of my life,
won't ever grow up
and be somebodies wife!

So bruised and beaten
my flesh was burned away,
I screamed in pain
but wasn't heard that day!

I couldn't stop it
for I was only three,
why did he hate
why did he murder me?

Where's the pretty picture
it disappeared somehow,
as I lay lifeless
do you, see me now?!!
